Joseph Callanan is an experienced construction executive of over a wide range of civil and heavy infrastructure projects including site construction and sub-contractor management. Well versed in all aspects of Project Management including planning and development, budgets, scheduling and contract agreements.

Project Executive for all specialized high profile company projects. Directly responsible for company growth in new market areas and new company divisions. Working with company President & COO expanded construction operations into Southern New England and Southeastern United States. Also instrumental in expanding company with a new utility line division and a new subsidiary for low voltage, specialty systems.

During this period I was the project executive of the Massport Logan Airport Baggage Handling Project. The scope of work included the installation of seven new substations and primary power distribution throughout the airport facility as well as sixteen new state of the art baggage screening systems throughout five termin. Also directly managed the MBTA Automated Fare Collection System as prime contractor for over one hundred transit stations and facilities installing new electronic fare systems, CCTV security systems and major facility renovations. Managed multiple sub-trades on both projects.

Direct overseer of all ongoing projects nationally in telecommunications, specialized utility contractor. Reporting directly to the president on all day to day operations of the company as well as long term Project Management.. Responsible for all Project Management staff within company as well as project owner relations and major subcontractor supplier agreements.
Working directly with the President/CEO in developing marketing and expanding business for newly patented building and containment structures to the construction, marine and environmental industries. Responsible for setting up and implementing systems for all client/vendor transactions and contracts for national distributor network. Direct administration of all client proposals and orders, inventory management and erections.

Hired by the President to start Building Construction Division for Utility and Heavy
Highway Contractor. In overseeing Building Division, increased company sales one
hundred percent in the first year. Promoted to Director of Operations for all divisions in
final year of employment.

Co-founder General Contracting Firm specializing in government contracts covering territory of New England and New York State. Responsible for all bidding, contract negotiations, purchasing and financial management of company.
